The content in this video course was birthed out of their own personal experience of teaching others what they have learned, including the wisdom they gained as Aaron fought through the challenges of memorizing twenty-six books of the Bible.

Warriors of the Word Video Course

The Warriors of the Word video course is a guide for small groups who want to memorize and study God’s Word together. It includes eight video teachings by Aaron and Emily House and is ideal for groups with 60-90 minute meeting times. Each session includes a combination of video teaching as well as small group discussion questions, assignments, and exercises to complete during the remaining class time.

NOTE: If your group has a strict 60-minute time frame, please allow for nine sessions instead of eight. The first session has two 45-minute segments (90 minutes total) that can either be done together or as two separate sessions.

Aaron House is the Founder and Executive Director of Piercing Word ministry and co-author of the Warriors of the Word book and video course. He has a fiery zeal for Jesus Christ and for the Word of God, and he has personally memorized and performed 26 books of the Bible before a public audience. He is passionate about equipping other believers to successfully memorize God’s Word for themselves and wield the sword of the Spirit in their everyday lives.

Although originally from Houston, Texas, he currently lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with his lovely wife, Emily House, and their three children. Before Piercing Word ministry became full-time in 2013, he was a full-time professional actor at Sight & Sound Theatres in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, for three years as well as the Branson, Missouri, location for two years. He has a BA in Musical Theatre from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas. Aaron was ordained as a minister of the gospel at Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, in November 2013.

Emily House is co-author of the Warriors of the Word book and video course. God has given her a fervent passion to disciple other believers. She is honored to have the opportunity to help equip fellow believers in the memorization of God’s precious Word. She attended Elim Bible Institute. She was an Assistant Director of DRAMA Ministry in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Emily loves working alongside her husband, Aaron House, in Piercing Word ministry as well as in their home, where they disciple their three beautiful, rambunctious children: Caleb, Aria Joy, and Malakai. The family lives in Akron, Pennsylvania, and are members of Dove Westgate Church in Ephrata.
